Embarkation was efficient. In only a few minutes from arriving at the pier we were in our room welcomed with a bottle of cold champaign. Our luggage appeared in a couple of hours.

The food was the best of any previous cruises (all on Princess). The breakfasts both in the buffet and the dining rooms were excellent. Lots of variety and good tasting. The fruit was especially tasty. Same with lunches. We were a party of 8 and after a couple of nights, it was automatic that we were seated at "our table" with Enrique and Aartee as our servers. They were fantastic. Most dinners were really good. The variety (changed menu each night as well as a list of same offerings each night) made it so there was always something we liked. If we didn't like a particular item they quickly replaced it.

We bought the specialty restaurant package of 3 restaurants. Murano and Tuscan were out of this world. However Silk (Asian) was not to our liking. We were very disappointed that night. Service wad good but the food just did not meet our expectations. All 8 of us felt that way. But overall the food gets an A rating.

Cabin Review

Great room on the bump. On deck 12 right outside the pool. Very convenient location. Near the elevators and one floor up to the buffet. There was a cabinet the full width of the bed up high over the pillow area. That was really helpful. Also the luggage stores easily under the bed, which makes the room much more spacious.
