Did the Baltic Capitals cruise in 06/2104, leaving out of Copenhagen. Embarkation was smooth and quick, luggage delivered to the room very quickly. Cabin was a little smaller than we are used to, although the bathroom was bigger. Someone else complained about the bunk bed on the wall, we also had issues with this, bumping heads and backs regularly getting our of bed. Cabin steward was attentive, but unobtrusive, did a nice job keeping cabin clean and stocked.

Rostock: We were very disappointed with this stop. Apparently, the Star usually berths at Warnemunde, and we were expecting to be able to walk to the town, then take a shuttle or taxi to Rostock. However, we berthed at a commercial port that wasn't close to anything, and had to pay NCL $20 per person for a shuttle to Rostock. To make matters worse, this was apparently the first time the Star had docked there, and none of the crew or staff seemed to know anything about it.

Tallin: Beautiful town, relatively easy walk to town from the pier, nice day, beautiful weather.

Cabin Review

Cabin was overall smaller than was are used to, but the bathroom was bigger. Very quiet, steward was great, beds were comfortable but obviously well used. Bunk bed hanging on the wall was in the way a lot.
