We booked this cruise about a month before we sailed as a family vacation. The price was reasonable and it went to ports we have never been to. The boarding process was well managed and before long we were on board ready to enjoy all the Victory had to offer. We booked inside because we planned on being on deck more than in the room. The rooms were typical carnival staterooms small and clean. We had awesome cabin stewards who were in and out of our room twice daily making sure everything was clean and comfortable. We chose late night dining so we had time to enjoy the day. Our wait staff was friendly and called us by name each evening. The food was also your typical cruise food, nothing to complain about, As usual the chocolate melting cake was awesome!
We enjoyed the two ports, Ocho Rios Jamaica and Grand Cayman. The only complaint from our group was that we needed more time in each port. Jamaica was more of a party, fun atmosphere while Grand Cayman was relaxing and laid back. We toured Jamaica, shopped and laid on Bamboo Beach. In Grand Cayman we did the shore snorkel excursion which was well worth the money. This was the first snorkel excursion for half of the group and they thoroughly enjoyed it. The ship could have used some updating and a larger liquor store, but overall, we had a great trip on the Victory and would definitely go on this shop again!
This was the typical inside cabin, could have used an update, but the rooms were clean and well maintained. We had awesome cabin stewards who kept our room clean and always greeted us with a friendly smile and hello.
