I am writing about my recent cruise experience. As with my first cruise, I had to wait in line for TWO HOURS, before gaining admittance to the ship! It was exactly the same with the first cruise going to St. John's. The same excuse was used- the ship got in late because of ........ This time, there was, in fact, a fire in the everglades and it was really bad. As you can imagine, an hour wait in the hot Miami sun with almost 100% humidity can be really difficult, especially for those with children. There was water provided after at a point in the line, but it was a 45 minute wait to get to that point. The inside experience was cool but infuriating. We were separated into two line-those that had registered online from those who did not. With any tardiness, the cruise line SHOULD HAVE HAD extra staff to help register customers and give them room keys. On our side, we had two-to three agents with space for ten other agents. It was absolutely ridiculous. One of the reasons that I will probably NOT go on this line again will be for fear of a repetition of this line situation.

On board, the service, the staff, the meals were wonderful. The entertainment appealed to all types of people. You must understand that when the cruise is billed as a FUN CRUISE, many customers on this line take this as drinking non-stop from morning to night. One needs to be able to handle that and the customers themselves.

The pool area was filled to capacity and people were standing next to each other, many with their drinks and beers, etc. I was not appealing.
