My wife and I have cruised many times, mostly on Celebrity. This was our second RCL cruise, both out of Baltimore. We chose this cruise for its convenience as we were taking our daughter, son-in-law and 1 year old grandson on their first cruise and it was only about a one hour drive to the port. We knew that the ports of Port Canaveral, Nassau, and CoCo Cay were not the most exciting, but this was about their first cruise experience. The embarkation process was very smooth and we were in out adjoining cabins within 30 minutes of our arrival. The balcony cabins were fine, exactly the same as our previous cruise on the Enchantment.

We found the service on the ship to be very good. The dining room staff went out of their way to accommodate the needs of a one year old and the pool staff was also very helpful. The Diamond Lounge was very nice for cocktails before dinner. Unfortunately, the food in the MDR was barely mediocre. Except for some very nice desserts, there were not many accolades for any of the main courses. We all had a very nice meal Giovanni's Table and my daughter and son-in-law had good meals at Chops Grill and Izumi, the sushi venue. The Park Cafe in the Solarium was a good option for breakfast and lunch.

Paul and Darryl, the Cruise and Activities Directors did a fine job of hosting fun events around the ship. The entertainment was pretty good. We saw two comics and a Vegas style entertainer. The two production shows were OK, with a couple very good singers.
