No matter how old you are, if there is any live in you, you don't want to go on this cruise. The whole atmosphere on this cruise was old, old, old, from the piped in music to the entertainment. A constant barrage of music, originally performed by people now all dead. What really turned me off is all the people that took their naps in all the public places. Everywhere you went on this ship there were people sleeping in chairs, head back, mouth open and snoring. Not a pretty sight. I am 71 years old myself and if I feel sleepy I go to my cabin This was my first princess cruise, also the last. The food was boring, same O, same O every day. The hallway to my stateroom smelt musty, and there always were fans running, drying off something or other. They were working on some water pipes and our toilet wouldn't flush 5 times and it would take a couple of hours to have running water again. The cabin next to us was being remodeled and for 3 days we had tapping and banging noise all day. As soon as that was done, they started scraping paint right above and below us and we had that noise all day long. We had booked a junior suit, hoping for some quite reading time, but no such luck. It really was all very disappointing the whole ship has such a tired feel to it. I felt sorry for the few younger people on board. Thankfully there were port days, we could not wait to get off this ship, even for a few hours.
