Oasis of the Seas is not just any other cruise ship on the Ocean. This is a floating city! From the minute you first lay eyes on her as you arrive at the departure port your excitement builds. She is a beautiful and absolutely huge boat, almost overwhelming to take in. Once you get inside her massive belly you feel like you've entered a movie set. A beautiful city street, lined with shops, bars, clubs, and quaint little restaurants. There is even an antique car there, which is dwarfed by the immense size of the "Promenade".

Every step of the way around the ship you become more and more impressed. Every feature is gorgeous, no detail has been missed. You will feel this way for the entire trip and always finding something new you had not yet seen. You honestly can not do everything on this ship in just one cruise.

The staff aboard Oasis of the Seas really bring this vacation over the top. Somehow they remember your name and what you drink and eat. Genuinely friendly and caring about your vacation making sure that you enjoy your week in their care. The cruise director seemed to be everywhere and had an energy that keeps you drawn to her. By mid week in your mind you wonder if she is really triplets. Now even more impressive is the cabin steward. This guy is like Houdini, magically primping your room what seems like every time you step out the door. Complete with towel monkeys hanging around your bed and curtain rods. Everything aboard was kept spotless and you will constantly see someone polishing, painting and cleaning something. Keeping everything in tip-top shape.

Cabin Review

Whenever you book a cruise online you worry about the accommodations or at least I do. Well no need to worry on Oasis of the Seas. From the moment you pop open the door for the first time you are blown away. This a modern, well designed and decorated room. The bathroom is just inside the door and is very spacious. The shower is large enough for me and I'm 6', 300 lbs. I could easily wash my hair and turn around. The living area had comfy love seat to relax on and watch the flat panel TV. There is plenty of storage for two of us and we are certified over packers. The bed was so luxurious that you feel like you're sleeping on a cloud. There is a nice little balcony with a table and chairs to people watch on the Boardwalk below or catch a show at the Aqua Theater. I've taken a few other cruises and short of a suite this is a five star room.
