We loved Barcelona - had never been there before. But, have to admit I am just not a fan of the larger ships. Love Celebrity for that reason, nonetheless we are diamond class on RCCL so we have used them quite often.

Anyway, everything was ok, lots of people. This is a cruise that is fast-paced. Everyday a different port. We did not care much for Marseilles, France - nothings special, but of course, great pastry and crepes. Loved Monte Carlo. Italy, had never been went to Florence when we reached LaSpezia. Loved Rome and used a fantastic Italian travel company, Easy Italy for the day in Rome. Well worth the money and saw everything there was to see. Naples - do not stay in the city - its dirty and nasty and sketchy. Go on a excursion, stay on the ship or hire a travel guide. Naples was horrible.

All in all, very nice itinerary. The ship has gotten a little older since the last time I was on it. We were on it for a Caribbean cruise several years ago- i.e. the deck chairs in the Solarium have some peeling junk all over them. Otherwise, good cruise. Loved our dinner service and the usual good selection of foods.
