This was our first full cruise with P&O having previously mainly cruised with Princess and our expectations were mixed as some reviews were not complementary. Azura is a good looking ship and was on the outside clean and well maintained with a generally polite and helpful crew. Our inside cabin on Riviera deck was clean and well maintained by our rarely seen attendant, however on our second day the toilet started to flood but was stopped by a passing (uniformed) engineer, what luck ! , clean up and staff very quickly sorted the problem with a clean up team appearing to suck up water and leave everything good as new,

The food was generally very good both in the Peninsular and buffet restaurants; however breakfast in the Verona & Venesia was a bit of a cattle market with nowhere to sit. The Tea & Coffee was well stocked but cold drinks was limited to water as the all other juice/squash drink was unavailable, but you could buy from the bar( more profit).

We were also surprised to see entertainment staff taking up taking up seats & tables in the restaurants and outside bars particularly when paying passengers are trying to find somewhere to sit.
