Just returned form ancient wonders cruise. Flight from Manchester ok. 1 1/2 hr journey to Marmaris port, which I might add is a lovely port. Check in fast within 30 mins in cabin deck 3. no vibration midship Went for something to eat, cases there when we got back. Had the same cabin three times now. I read an early review that Thomason never recognised them as previous travellers. When we arrived in our cabin a nice card and lovely bottle of champagne. Much appreciated. We ate in the Meridian each night enjoyed the food, granted they were not big portions but by the time I had 5 courses that was enough. The wine waiter kept filling our glasses, never had to ask. We were on the AI which came with the holiday (booked early). My husband never had any trouble with the branded whiskey in fact the drinks seem to be extra strong in the Horizons bar. NIce atmosphere there and a lovely girl singer. The shows were ok, we have seen 'africa' many times but still enjoy it. The comedian was good too. Did 3 trips with Thomson, Istanbul, we chose the one where you drive over the Bospherous to the Asian side. We did Athens which was brilliant walked to the top, which is a must, fab views over Athens. We also did Santorine nice island. The other ports we did on our own. We have no qualms about the Celebration, will go again if its the right itinerary. This is a small ship not the huge P&O or RC. Its friendly, no tipping, all in all its what you make of a holiday and we thoroughly enjoyed it, go with an open mind. Enjoy.
