I was very nervous about this ship after reading some of the reviews. This is was our 6th cruise and 5th with Carnival and I loved the Sunshine. We arrived at the Port around 10am and were on the ship enjoying a drink and lunch by noon.

The ship never seemed too crowded! We had no trouble getting sun loungers by the pool everyday but dont expect to get up at 11 and find a good seat! The Serenity area filled up quick so we would wait til around 3 each day and go up there and enjoy the comfy seats. The food on the ship was very good and there was plenty of options. I really enjoyed the shrimp burritos at the Blue Iquana! My husband loved Guys burgers. We did eat at the sushi place one night before dinner. It was ok but they really need more of a selection. We had your time dining and only had to wait the 1st night.

Our cabin was an interior on the 8th deck and it was a perfect location right next to the elevators.It did seem a bit smaller than any cabin we have had. All the staff on the ship were very friendly!! The entertainment was good. We went to a few shows and never had a problem getting a seat in the Liquid Lounge. I went to one show for the comedian. Tried to go to an adult show but it was already full 30min before showtime. The limelight lounge is really way too small for the crowds. The ship is somewhat confusing to navigate in some areas but we figured it out! I would absolutely sail on the Sunshine again!!!
