First Time Cruisers

Sail Date: May 2014
Destination: Europe - British Isles & Western
Embarkation: Southampton
This was our very first cruise so we have nothing to compare to

Embarkation was a bit chaotic, you were giving a number and had to wait till they called your number, had to put back time of boarding which was bit annoying. When you got your number called we went through really quickly on board in bout 15 mins Brillant.

Very impressed with the ship lots of bars to sit and be social but if you just wanted to be quiet there are plenty places to do that to.

Cabins ready at 1.30 so we made our way to cabin, luggage already and waiting, cabin was very roomy bigger than what we thought, plenty of storage and lots hangers, which is a plus, bathroom was adequate. For the amount of time you spend in your cabin what else do you want other than comfy bed and shower.

Food was very good either in restaurant and in the buffet,we always got seated in buffet area but there was only 2 of us so that made it easy.

Pool area very nice lots of sunbeds and seating, the hot More tub is a must

Ship very clean and staff very helpful

All in all we had a brillant time would recommend MSC Opera to anyone after all its your holiday and its what you make it Less
