I chose this cruise primarily for the itinerary..but also because of the ship, and certainly regarding those, i was not disappointed...however once on board, i became disappointed with what felt like flying with a low fares airline...for example..silly things like "you want to go to deck 18...thats 10 euros each please"--"you want water with your dinner---thats 2 euros 99 please" etc etc---ok its not breaking the bank, but made the overall feel of things quite tacky.

The staff in the buffet are exhausted, irritable, and god help you if you accidentally get in their way...most of the time there is not much food left, lots of it is taken by Msc crew who push past you and fill their own plates, and you the paying passenger can have whats left, the breakfast resembles a scene from Hunger Games where you have to fight to first of all find a clean plate....then fight for what food is left..then spend half an hour going around trying to find a seat..think im exaggerating? Try it .

Disembarkation is a nightmare...we explained that we had a flight to catch and need to leave the boat as quicklly as possible...they agreed that 0945 we would be met in a lounge and escorted off the boat...at 1020 we were still waiting..so decided to leave the boat ourselves..we were told that we could..but were told they had no idea where our bag was...we eventually found it..and thankfully made our flight.
