This was our family's first cruise. I read a lot of reviews here, they are all different. Half of the people like this cruise and half don't. Now I understand why. If you are a type of person that wants to spend $3000-$4000 for your cruise and play bean bags, sing karaoke, have hairy chest contest ( which I've heard they have done for years) or drink all day, than this cruise is for you.

If you want musical shows and other good quality entertainment, pass Carnival cruises. We were bored out of our minds. There is nothing to do on this cruise. They have one group of singers and dancers ( about 12 people) who are doing several of their shows. They just change costumes.

We had 2 magic shows, each 30 min. One magician, a lady we were told was from Las Vegas. There was nothing special about her show, considering she did 4 tricks, the rest was singing and dancing by the same group described above.
