After reading many good and bad reviews about the Island Escape Cruise ship i was a little worried about this ship. There was no need to have worried, the ship and the crew are excellent and nothing is too much trouble.

The whole process from the airport to the ship was effortless, we boarded the ship at 11.30ish and were able to go to out cabin straight away. The cabin is small but adequate as you only sleep, shower and change in cabins. The cabin steward was very helpful and turned the beds down every evening. Also the towels were changed everyday. Our cabin on in Deck 8 which was good and near all activities.

Before sailing we were given a safety drill with us having to go back to our cabins to get our life jackets and report to our relevant safety area. This made us feel safe and the crew knew what they were doing. Instructions were clear and concise and if anyone needed extra help then they only had to ask.

Cabin Review

We had an inside cabin and although small it was adequate for two people. The cabin was clean and tidy, The shower worked well and we could get the correct temperature for us to shower in.There was plenty of room to hang our clothes and space to put our suitcases away. There was a hair dryer, dressing table and TV.The cabin steward was very helpful made animals out of the towels for fun and made the beds everyday and turning the beds back on an evening. The towels were changed every day, I don't do that at home.
