This was our first trip on this class of ship. Our two previous Carnival cruises were on the Breeze and Magic. The slightly smaller capacity of the Triumph was nice, particularly during Spring Break, which is when we were cruising.

Because we had an OS we had preferred boarding, but it didn't seem that others were waiting. This was by far the easiest embarkation yet.

We loved the Paris dining room. So many of the tables had window views, which was nice. We were lucky enough to get a table in the aft area. Our wait staff was wonderful. Very responsive to our needs. The food was quite good. It was not the new menu, so the same as our last two cruises, but the quality was very good.

Cabin Review

The suite on the Triumph was not as nice or as large seeming as the one we had on the Breeze. The balcony had three chairs and a small table, rather than a lounger, two chairs and a table. I missed having the lounger. It had quite a large vanity/dressing area, which seemed rather luxurious, but was not the best use of space in a confined space. My biggest issue with the cabin was the location though, VERY noisy. If you are a relatively early to bed type, this is not the cabin for you. The sound of music from the singer in the atrium came straight up the elevator/stairs area. It was as if you were standing on deck 3 listening to him sing.
