Sail Date: May 2014

This was our third time on the Allure. We arrived around 1130 am and found long lines. Embarkation went fairly well for us, because we are Diamond. Many others complained of waiting as much as 4 hours to board. There were many computer problems. Passes were redone three times.

Once on all went well, the ship is beautiful, rooms great and there is much to do for anyone. We decided to do the specialty dining special for three nights for a sale price. Great move on our part. We dined on First night, wednesday night, and Saturday night. All three restaurants were good to excellent. We are at Chops, Giavonnis, and 150 Park Ave. The other nights we ate in Main Dining room and we very disappointed in the food. The last two cruises we did on the Allure the food was good. This time is was awful. We have sailed over 60 cruises and this was the worst for food quality. So, we did not let that upset us. There are plenty of other food options so we did Ritas for lunch twice, Johnny Rockets for lunch, and Park Ave for lunch.

As for the shows, they were great. We saw Chicago, Blue planet, Comedy show, and show. All were excellent.

Cabin Review

Cabin was good, Location great. Only issue was small sink. Enough storage. Size was good. Clean and good cabin attendant.
