We were very pleased with our Century Pacific Coastal. I was worried that the ship would be too small or in bad shape based on previous reviews, but while there were some rusty areas or maintenance problems, we had a great time. We took advantage of a suite guarantee, and got a Century Suite, which gave us the Suite Privileges. We loved the embarkation escort, Michaels club, priority tendering and and escorted debarkation. We had the premium package already, so the 'free' drinks in Michael's was not a big plus, it was a very nice atmosphere. The staff in Michael's was excellent, especially, Tudor.... We felt totally pampered.

We had Select Dining, food and service was excellent most nights, went to Murano's one night, food was as expected.... Same old menu. We ate in the buffet every breakfast and most lunches. Plenty of choices, loved the made to order Caesar salad ( extra cheese & anchovies), eggs Benedict for breakfast, and the black pudding!

Since we are locals, the ports were not important to us, we just needed time away. Shipboard activities did seem less than prior cruises, but with a port intensive cruise, we had plenty to keep us busy and amused.

Cabin Review

Cabin was standard size, balcony very roomy. Cabin was very noisy during rough seas, but otherwise quiet. Convenient to the buffet, sunset bar and elevators.
