So we just came back from our cruise on the Allure of the Seas, I have been on 2 other RCI cruises while my girl friend had not, this was her first cruise and I enjoyed them, more than the Allure.

1st, the food was good, NOT Great and I noticed that the food in the Windjammer seemed sparse to what I had enjoyed before. Please, there is lots to eat but I thought the variety was limited on this ship. The wait staff was very good in the Dining Room but I have to agree with others who took this cruise, the Staff in the other FREE Restaurants and Cafe's seemed annoyed when you asked them for something. I overhead 2 people that worked on the boat talking about how much they hated their jobs and couldn't wait until their contract was up and that everyone else felt the same way. It certainly seemed that way.

The Cruise Director was good I thought and some of the entertainment was Very Good BUT some were Very Bad. They had a young band trying to play Motown, while the singer read the words from a song sheet. We didn't stay there very long. NOR should you, if you like Motown. Comedy Night very funny and Chicago was just OK. The Staff that checked you out at the stops and back in were not friendly at all. My girlfriend got lost while we were in St. Thomas and when she went back to the boat, they made her wait for 3 hours in the heat and never offered her anything to eat or drink while they " supposedly" checked her out
