I have cruised more than 15 times. I have been on Princess, Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, Carnival and Celebrity. Because we had such a great experience on the Celebrity Millennium last year we chose to cruise with Celebrity again. We chose this itinerary because it bypasses Nassau and goes to places we've never seen before. We had high expectations so we were underwhelmed and disappointed.

CABIN: We had a Deck 7 cabin near the Hideaway Lounge (coffee bar). The room was pleasant and clean. The bathroom was a nice surprise. It was larger than most and had plenty of drawers and cabinets for our stuff. The closet was sufficient but there were not enough drawers in the dresser. Thankfully there are overhead storage bins above the beds and that made up for the lack of drawers. Our steward was AWOL most of the time. We found out that this was his last week and he was going home for four months. Perhaps that is why he was not as attentive as we would have liked. The last night he took our things out of the refrigerator to inventory it, then locked it. Unfortunately my protein supplement was spoiled. The veranda was nice, They need to replace the curled door mat.

ENTERTAINMENT: Let's start with the Cruise Director, Damien. He had he personality of a used car salesman, obnoxious and always too loud. He needs to tone it down a bit. The first night the comedian was Greg Vaccarello. He was NOT very funny. Add to that there was a drunken heckler. He was much better the night he performed at the Sin City Club. The other comedian, Russ T. Nails was by far the best I've ever seen on a cruise ship. We never stopped laughing and we both ended up laughing so hard we cried. There was a wonderful performer named Claire Maidin. She gave a great show...such talent. The Bo=roadway show tunes night was very good. The Cirque du Solei-type show was OK but a bit corny. The last performer, Delisco was not very good. We played Bingo which was overpriced, but still fun. The Casino was great, especially because we didn't have to breathe in second hand smoke.
