I've sailed many Cruise Lines before and have done Carnival at least half a dozen times and this cruise was just for me so I didn't have high expectations except to relax and veg out. Here's the thing with Carnival...it is a cruise that caters to those who like to drink and party and it's famous for families to cruise without having to put down a ton of money except for when they get their bar bill which usually is around $1000. Why not use that money to get a better cruise unless you love drinking all day and night so with that being said let's continue.

The buffet is actually horrible....worse than I even imagined because every day is 'groundhog day' with the buffet food. The actual buffet area is smaller than most ships this size but when it's that bad of food then why have a bigger food area? The only saving grace for decent food in the buffet area was the deli area...good sandwiches and if you like hamburgers.....then Guy Fiere will save your life. I ate there every day and the burgers and fries are great. The Main Dining Room is where you will need to eat..brunch and dinner as the food was actually better than I thought it would be...choose anytime dining. The ship does not give you that much "Wow Factor"...the pools are ordinary...the outside stuff still looks like Carnival from 1990 so don't expect to be wow'd by anything...very plain jane. If you are looking for a cruise to get you from point A to point B then this is your ship.

Cabin Review

Cabin was good...aft area where it is easy to get to the places often will be going except for the front of the ship which is where breakfast was served.
