After writing it, we realized that this is a pretty comprehensive review of a re-positioning cruise but hopefully it informs of what to expect on the ship and from the crew...and maybe, hopefully, gives some good feedback to Celebrity since we booked another tip on Summit next year!

We booked this for the itinerary: Puerto Rico, St Maarten, St Thomas, Tortola BVI, Bermuda, NYC. Ending up where you live and taking a cab home is a wonderful thing!

EMBARKATION in Puerto Rico was a breeze, arrived at the port at 1130A and was onboard having lunch at 1145A. Quick and easy, no problems at all. Very smooth process. Rooms were ready right at 1P. Luggage delivered about 2P. Perfect timing.

Cabin Review

We had the aft facing Concierge. 9201. Standard Concierge room and HUGE balcony. Double or double and a half deep. 2 loungers with ottomans and table with 4 chairs and plenty of room still to walk about. 9th deck has more shade and overhang than the same aft facing cabins on 7-8. 9th also gets more of the Sunset Deck music in the evenings (which for us was a major plus). No smells at all as others seem to have experienced. We booked the same room for a future cruise, so no complaints on the room. Comfy beds, plenty of storage for normal people (we saw some folks with 3x the roller and carry on we each had...so, if you are a major over-packer you will be the complainer on this board). Wish it was a glass shower door vs curtain, but it is what it is. And it was clean. Our cabin steward and stewardess were both awesome. One piece of advice we provided Celebrity in our survey was to wash/squeegee the glass railings on the balcony. Ours was pretty filthy. Bring your own squeegee.
