We have been on a number of cruises previously, the latter on the Thomson Majesty and have always enjoyed our cruising experience. We are a party of 6 adults. We had stayed at the Louis Pheathon in Pathos for a week prior to boarding the Spirit in Limassol.

The last cruise and stay with Thomson was fantastic. However we have returned from a week on the Spirit and what a disappointment. The ship is tired and lacking, most of the staff are the same. We spoke with several staff members and for some it was too much of an effort to smile and offer and service. On several occasions whilst sitting outside on deck, we were ignored by staff and hard to work hard to get their attention to get a drink. The food in the compass restaurant was 'good' but there was nothing that came out as exceptional or 'blew you away', not much variety really. We went to eat in the Lido once, but the cutlery and tables were dirty and disgusting so I walked out. The entertainment team were ill mannered and ignorant, they would not acknowledge you at all whether you were on or off the ship, indeed they appeared to be very clique with some customers and stick with the same ones, ie the welsh girl always went and sat down with holidaymakers from Wales. The cabins were great, spotlessly clean, as were the cabin crew Regie and Jonathon. Also big thanks to waiters Ramon, Mel and Albert and bar staff, Shine, Elaina, Leona and Didi. Also enjoyed the spa and massage by Hazel.
