Sail Date: Jul 2006
Traveled with children

We are a family of three, two adults and our preteen daughter. We booked this ship for a number of reasons...price, ports and kids program. We had sailed with Carnival before to Alaska and had a very good experience. It was very family oriented and cultural to Alaska so we figured it would be to Europe also, and we were correct.

All three of us had a wonderful time on the ship and in each port. We booked half of our tours ourselves with people we met online through cruise critic, and half through the ship. Each has it's advantages.

The food was very good and there was a lot of variety at each meal in the dining room and in each of the dining locations. We tried each area except the 'pay' restaurants as we believe that the food should be very good in the 'included' eateries so there should be no reason to pay extra.
