We had a party of 16, aged 7-77. I had cruised before on Disney (loved it), but the consensus of this group was that Disney was too limited in scope for this diverse of a group. We landed on this ship. It had something for everyone. Bingo for Grammy, Spa for Grandpa, rock walls and flowrider for the kids and plenty of bars for everyone else. The trip was a huge success.

There were some negatives, however. Service on this ship is average at best. Bartenders were rude and non-attentive, overall cleanliness of ship was average, and there were very few nice little perks (no chocolates on pillow, no towels and cold water at ports etc.). This ship definitely cuts some corners.

With respect to the food, I give the ship mixed reviews. The quality of the food in the main dining room exceeded my expectations (although it still took 30 minutes to get a drink). All the other "complimentary" restaurants were pretty bad. Wipeout grill was like a high school cafeteria (hot dogs floating in serving trays, hockey puck hamburgers), and the windjammer (emphasis on "jam" because of the crowds) was quantity over quality. I basically skipped lunch everyday because it wasn't worth the extra pounds. Clearly they are pushing passengers to the "extra fee" restaurants.

Cabin Review

If you have a party of 3 or 4 make sure you get a room with the bunk beds. I had two kids and they had to sleep on the pull out couch. As a result, for 12 hours a day the entirety of my room was a bed--impossible to move around.
