HI we are 2 friends, hard working nurses who cruised with celebrity for rest, relaxation and a few beaches. We got it all and more with this cruise !! embarkation/disembarkation very smooth. We had done our research, so felt we knew the ship and it's offerings well before we left Port Everglades We overnighted pre-cruise at the Rodeway Inn and found it to be quite fine for a night. We could have done without captain Morgan and his " different humor" at breakfast, but the shuttle service to the pier made up for that. We had a balcony cabin on the 6th level and even though we looked out onto the top of the lifeboats, it did NOT bother us at all. The balcony is a perfect size for 2 and the chairs comfortable...they even reclined ! The room was spacious as well as the bathroom with plenty of storage for our things. Our room attendant was Micheal and we were well taken care of by him. We found the food to be great everywhere we went. One night, we ate at Murano. The food and service were excellent. We had the 6:00 dinner seating and were again well served by Jasmin and Jeekerson at table 338. They quickly caught on to what we liked and also enjoyed just chatting to them. We were seated with a physically handicapped person in a wheelchair......did not bother us in the least as nurses, but our other table-mates did not return after the first night. Their loss !! The nightly shows were excellent. We felt very fortunate to have seen THE TENORS OF ROCK, KNIGHT MAGIC< CLAIR MAIDIN, and of coarse the awesome singers, dancers and the house bands. We never made it to the comedy show. Our only disappointment came when we were unable to dock in Grand Caymen due to rough water. The Tendering service was suspended to all ships that day. We missed our excursion via jet ski to Stingray City. The only other excursion we did was to Mr Sanchos Beach Break in Cozumel. The sun sand and service there, did not disappoint. On the way back to the cruise port, a storm broke with drenching cold rain, as a cold front moved in. ( it also followed us for a few days, thus the reason we missed Grand Cayman) WE walked the long pier back to our ship and were soaked and cold. Once on board, a crew member was there with warm towels to wrap around us. It was a very caring gesture that impressed me most that week! That warm towel was like a hug !! Overall, an awesome week.....from the room service breakfasts served on our balcony, to the coffee's at café baccio, to the very pleasant surroundings of the solarium ( for adults only) , silhouette crew were marvelous to us. Our Captain was visable frequently, and he hosted a Q &A session one morning......very informative indeed !!! Thank-you to all the silhouette staff, it was a pleasure to meet and interact with you over the week of April 6th to 13.!!
