Hi, we have been on over 70+ cruises and are not fussy people.We have enjoyed Carnival in the past and since this was going to Aruba and Curaco we thought okay it has just been revamped. This is the worst designed ship I have ever been on - worse than the NCL Majesty after adding more cabins. They have added many cabins but have done things that even I can't understand. Jogging track goes over deck 10 smoking area (doesn't smoke rise?) Big slide in back but can't be used if wind is over 31 MPH (lots of sea days ship is moving and making wind?) Theatre seats face each other not the stage so you sit sideways to see the stage? Food was decent but never hot as the kitchen is quite the distance from dinning room up to 4th floor. Movies are old not one new movie was shown...(Goonies - really?) Smell on ship was bad in some areas and the elevators were so hot it was awful. Air conditioning only worked in some areas. Line, lines and more lines - to eat or see a show. Never again. If you smoke not a bar inside that you can have a drink and just relax - 3 stools in casino bar but really noisy. Rooms are funny - larger shower but toilet is now croocked and have to put one foot in shower to sit on toilet. No night stands and no chair or sofa . For a ship that had just been redone...phone didn't work, upper bunk came down and had to get mantenence to put back up, smells were awful Never again for us will we go on the sunshine or any other reconditioned ship. They just squeezed more cabins in to make more money - I'd rather pay a little mor and have a great vacation. You get what you pay for!
