Our time on the Rhapsody was far from enjoyable. Our travel agent advised us that this cruise was appropriate for us, however as a couple in their early 20's we found ourselves bored and quickly discovered a lot of the on board activities required further payment. The ship was crowded with children and it was at times hard to find a seat and place to relax in peace. The adults only pool area still had children in it and again very crowded. The staff were at times uninformative, giving incorrect information about currency exchanges needed for going ashore in ports Vila and Noumea leaving us in unnecessary situations and costing us more in currency exchanges. We were told the sea pass card accounts would be deducted in one transaction at the completion of the cruise, however it has come out in chunks that are hard to follow and we are still waiting several days later for this to be fully deducted. Boarding and dismemberment were smooth and quick, staff were pleasant and food and entertainment average. Housekeeping was of a high standard and always polite. Whilst we acknowledge this cruise was not age appropriate our frustrations were compounded by the misinformation we were given by the cruise line.
