This was our 2nd cruise. Our first was only 3 nights through Royal Caribbean. We chose this 6 night cruise because of the price and great ports; Cozumel, Montego Bay, and Grand Cayman.

Embarkation: Extremely easy! We parked with Port of Miami cruising for $6 a day. Yes, it was sketchy, but our car was untouched and you couldn't beat the price. Just ignore the homeless people on the side walks, it's downtown Miami! We waited probably 10 minutes on a shuttle, not bad. Also, this is the closest parking lot to the port with only being 3/4 of a mile away. We could have walked, but just pay the $10 for round trip, worth it! We got to the port around 1pm. We were in our room in 20 minutes.

Note: Make sure if you are trying to board with just a birth certificate that is not just a copy of the original. This family was having a hard time getting their 10 year old on the ship because they only brought a copy of his birth certificate. They require a raised seal/original. It was a Sunday, so sadly that family probably was out of luck :(

Cabin Review

Our interior room: We loveddd our room! We were on deck 8. Nice vanity, big bed (a little hard, but oh well), great bathroom with lots of shelves near mirror, tons of closet space. The themes are adorable. We liked how you had to use your room key to turn on the lights, very modern.
