Thompson Dream Caribbean Review

Sail Date: March 2014
Destination: Eastern Caribbean
Embarkation: Barbados
Just a few thoughts from our recent trip:

Bad points:-

*)Food was poor and lacked flavour and had no Caribbean influences, which is strange as it was a Caribbean cruise

*) Food was more about quantity rather than quality

*) 1/4 of the staff lacked the necessary customer services skills and were not that helpful

*) No Caribbean themed nights, which was a shame as I was hoping for a more authentic cruise

*) Cabin was dull, and without putting our own finishes touches to the room, the accommodation would have been below average standards

Good points:-

*) Holiday itinerary was good (e.g great choice of islands visited)

*) A special mention to Larry at the back, there are not enough words to express what a great job he did. From his attention to detail to anticipating our needs, he was super!

*) Also Rudi, Jodel, Rommel and Astika did amazing jobs at keeping us happy

*) On the 3/4/14 More reception did an amazing job of dealing with our concerns about the quality of the food and directed us to the head chief and the overall food manager. The Head chief and overall food manager dealt with our concerns in a very professional manner

*)Larry and Ariel did an amazing job attending to our dining needs

Address the food menu option and quality of the food, and introduce some authentic Caribbean flavours! Less
