I find hard to say anything negative about RCL after being with them 30 years or so, but feel it necessary to comment at this point. I read a lot of reviews from those that slam a ship because of one thing or other, this is not that review.

First lets look at the ship condition. Jewel is very nice condition, with dark woods and matching colors. The ship does show signs of age, but you would have to look closely and know what to look for, and cabins are in top condition, as well as Tides, Windjammer, and clubs. The seaview seemed nice but was hardly open. The Centrum was wonderful, but did not have the new trapeze that the newer fit ship have.

The staff, For the most part they were great and some even going to the extra mile especially in Chops grill. Or cabin attendant was invisible and never did what we had requested on the first day, which was to empty the mini refrig, completely. We had ordered coffee each day to the room at 6:30 and never saw it once, however, our room was kept spotless.
