We enjoyed our second cruise on the Westerdam.  Everything went smoothly on embarkation day. We hit a rush of travelers at the airport and had to wait a bit for a taxi. The traffic getting into the port was heavy and luckily the Westerdam was at terminal 19 so we bypassed the traffic. The terminal was not backed up and we dropped the luggage and made our way inside and checked in immediately. We boarded directly after that and made our way to the Lido for some lunch.

The ship did not seem full so never really ever waited for anything. Could always find a chair or a seat for a show.

Our cabin was nice. The bed as usual was comfortable. No issues with temperature. The bathroom did have a musty odor. The shower curtain and mat were moldy. They were changed before we had to ask. The balcony was very large. The ship was upgrading their WiFi network. They sent a letter letting us know that work would occur starting at 9AM. Well they were outside my cabin at 7:15AM! I mentioned it to our cabin steward who said he would tell his superior. Next day was okay. Next day back at it at 7:30AM.

Cabin Review

Booked a VH guarantee and was assigned a VA. Nice upgrade for the price paid!Room was in good shape.Comfortable.Only negative was it is across from a crew access corridor and you could hear the coming and going.
