I was anxiously waiting to explore my favorite cruise line and favorite cruise ship. What a disappointment!

First of all I am an experienced cruiser of over 90 cruises and also a travel agent. Celebrity has been my choice. Consistency in service and food quality have been the key to enjoyable vacations with them. After every cruise I had a feeling of being someone "special". They always seemed to be a step ahead of the other cruise lines in all respects when it came to customer satisfaction. Sadly, those days are gone!

They are now just trying to fill the ships in order to maximize on board spending. The quality of the food has been reduced to what you will find on a mass market cruise line. My first clue was when I saw beef stew listed as a gourmet item. The next clue was that everything was COLD. We had early dinner but when we arrived on time they informed us our table was full! So we waited for 45 minutes for a table and then another 30 minutes for our waiter. The food taste and quality was another issue. If I hadn't of been on so many Celebrity cruises I would not have know the difference. Every night thereafter the wait for ordering and delivery was not up to par for Celebrity.
