First of all, Getaway is a nearly brand new ship-on the water for less than a month. Took my mom on the trip and we stayed in the Haven Suites Category S5 room 16110- if you can afford it, I recommend UP FRONT to stay in this area. There is a separate restaurant, pool, butler service, and concierge etc.

Highlights:

-Being in the Haven was special. The rest of the ship was HUGE and they clearly handled the masses, but it was certainly not of the quality or caliber of the Haven.

Cabin Review

As previously stated, the Haven suites were wonderful. Space is a premium which is not surprising. The king bed was HEAVEN. Deck was small and we had barely enough room for a chaise lounge and two chairs- 4' x 12'.Being on the Courtyard was incredible. Even though the Havens were three floors (14, 15 and 16) 16 was really great. Room was good-sized but not huge. Sitting area was OK-Only two outlets in room; one in the bathroom on the ceiling does not take US plugs with wider head. Hairdryer is hardwired and is in a weird location under the makeup mirror- short cord. Those who brought their own hairdryers said they kept tripping the power off.
