This vacation was to celebrate our daughter "Quinceañero". So, she decided in which cruise we were going to travel. We departed from Puerto Rico in January 1st 2014, to a pre-cruise mini vacation at Miami.

We stayed in the modest but nice hotel HOMEWOOD SUITES BY HILTON, close to the Airport. It includes full hot breakfast, and from Monday to Thursday a nice evening dinner and drinks (beers and wine). We visit the Miami Zoo, the Dolphin Mall, and Miami Beach. All of them nice places!!!

So, on Saturday January 4 we arrive at 3:00 pm to the Ft. Lauderdale Port, and we saw for the first time, the majestic and giant Oasis of the Seas. Very organized and quick the process to aboard, so in a breeze we were inside the cruise. I've been reading reviews and watching pictures of the Oasis of the Seas, since the moment we make the reservations a year before...but nothing of that compare to the moment you see it with your own eyes. BEAUTIFUL. We went to our interior cabin Deck 8 Cabin 440, which have been already decorated with the "Quinceañero motive" (of course, by an additional cost of $35). She didn't expect it, so it was a nice surprise!! In that moment we met our cabin attendant, a nice latin gentleman named Einstein, who seems to be always hiding behind de door ready to greet us and take care of our needs! We went to the compulsory drill, and organized one held in the Theater. Right after that, when everybody leaves the theater, was the unique moment when I feel we are travelling with 5,000 other people...but is was just a moment. We went to look around the cruise, that will be our home for the next week. In the dinning room we were attended by Kevin a handsome guy from Jamaica.
