First: this is a beautiful ship.

Embark/Disembark: it took only 30 minutes to get to the cabin from the time we walked into the terminal at 12:00 noon. It was the best and fastest embarkation I’ve seen. I think arriving early is the key. Disembarking took longer than expected, but that often occurs when Customs is slow.

Food: the food in the Paris buffet and dining room was 7 on a scale of 10. It was plentiful, but lines to the egg, grill, wok, and rotisserie stations were consistently long because there are no other dining options on the ship: only the buffet and 2 main dining rooms. There is the usual ice cream (free) and specialty coffee (extra fee). There is 24 hour room service (even on the morning of departure) which I did not try. The Paris buffet tended to brake down 15 minutes before the published closing time as the crew rushed to end their shifts.

Cabin Review

Cabin (M155): this is a good-sized cabin (with a murphey bed) IF you opt for twin beds instead of joining them into a king. If configured as a king, the bed is against the window on one side and a large life preserver storage box is at the foot of the bed. This means you can only get in the bed from one side, so anyone else sharing the bed has to climb over the other person to get out. I was the only one in my cabin, but I had the steward split the beds on day 2 because I wanted access to the large picture window. The bathroom is large and well-appointed and includes soap, an amenity (toothpaste and breathe-right). The shower has liquid soap and shampoo. Note: there is no hairdryer and the only outlet in the main cabin is loose (disconnecting your hairdryer when in use). 2 beach towels were furnished.
