We read so many negative reviews about this ship that we were really thinking about cancelling the cruise- lucky for us we didn't. I am not sure if the people that write negative reviews had one or two things go wrong that soured the entire cruise or they are setting the expectations so high they get disappointed. All I can say is that we had a great time. The ship is over 20 years old but once onboard you would never know it. We had a balcony room and the balcony although small was perfect for us - we got to sit out and watch the sunrise/sunset and see us pulling into the different ports. The room was very clean and our steward Su was excellent. Whenever we left the room it was cleaned and refreshed with towels when we got back - pretty awesome. We had great room service and anything we needed we were met with polite and quick responses.

The dining room food was excellent - we ate there on 4 nights with the first night of the cruise taking part of the buffet which was okay. Our waiter in the dining room Heath was great - whatever we wanted we got - and quickly.

The entertainment choices were good - the Motown review was fun with it ending up on the main deck on the bar - with people on all levels of the atrium joining in.

Cabin Review

Very spacious for two people - small balcony but big enough for two. comfortable beds and great steward - Su - we loved the ability to watch the sunrise and see the ports or just have morning coffee on the balcony - would never get an inside room - balcony is so much worth the extra money -
