My wife and I were on The Royal Princess in March and were most disappointed with this ship. We have been on 30 to 40 cruises with Princess and Celebrity our favorites. We expected The Royal to be an improvement over the previous Princess ships but unfortunately we found it very disappointing. The service and staff were typical Princess, no problem there, but the ship itself seems like a big step backwards. The low approval ratings, especially for a new ship that is the Flagship of the line, is probably a reflection of this poor design.

Pros:

Beautiful Piazza as everyone says, no doubt. This makes for very nice pictures. Read more
