We have just enjoyed the Canary Islands Cruise on the Norwegian Spirit. Free Style Cruising was quite different from any other cruises we have experienced. Once we got organised by buying into the Ultimate Dining Package and we booked a different restaurant every night for dinner we were fine. We can recommend Le Bistro - French Restaurant - we ate there three times, we loved Cagneys Steak House - the steak was absolutely delicious. The Teppanyaki was good and Shogun but disappointed with the Italian Restaurant. We had breakfast once in Windows Restaurant and it was so slow we decided to have breakfast and lunch in the buffet restaurant - Raffles - which was fine.

It was a very relaxing cruise - no dressing up. The ship was exceptionally clean in every way -crew work hard and are very pleasant and attentive. Our stateroom was spotless and we were well looked after by Thomas - nothing was too much trouble.

Our flights on BA were good and on time - everything was easy.
