We just returned from a 7 night cruise aboard the Norwegian Epic. This was our first cruise, so we can't compare this experience to any other cruises, but we are experienced travelers.
I think there is plenty of information out there about the entertainment and activities aboard the Epic...so I won't go into that other than to say if you don't like Blue Man Group, Howl at the Moon Dueling Pianos, Legends (Elvis, Katy Perry, and Steve Tyler impersonators) Second City comedy, Karaoke, Live blues music, casino (slots and table games) then maybe you are just one of those super hard to please people and nobody should take your reviews seriously. There was so much going on there really can't be any excuse for somebody to say they "were bored".
We ate at the buffets for breakfast and lunch, and upgraded to the specialty dining package to enjoy our choice of Italian, Chinese, Teppan yaki, Steak, Churrascarria, and French. All were very good, but our favorite was Cagney's steak house. They make an excellent 16oz ribeye steak cooked to perfection.
