Background Information We decided to treat our adult children to a "retirement cruise"and the Adventure's Southern Caribbean cruise seemed to guarantee good weather and interesting ports. This was our third cruise but the first for the kids.We picked the AOS because of the variety of onboard activities available for the younguns(21-30)

Bad Start!!! We thought we'd start it off right with a stretch limo to the Buffalo airport from our St Catharines Ont.home.Great idea with champagne,OJ,muffins ETC .The limo driver thought we were going the next day so our best friends got up at 7:30 and got us there on time. We landed in San Juan-lots of cabs(vans). They'll give you a pre determined price to where you're going-keep the paper to save an argument later. We book our own air and go the day before so we don't have to worry about weather or connections and we can get aboard early.Relax...remember

Embarkation Do your SEA PASS at home as it saves time at the pier.Go to the ship early. We got out of the cab at 11:45 and the seven of us were aboard at 12:05.Lots of time to check the ship(it is HUGE),have lunch, drinks by the pool and get to your cabin.Anthony(he was great) had our cabins ready by 2:00.We "let go" at 10:00 with a set sail party around the pool
