Sail Date: Mar 2014

i recently went on the carnival spirit on the 3rd of March to the 12th with my partner. i got a little worried reading some other reviews as some people were pretty negative. but after experiencing it for myself all i can say is those people are just sooks & must be very hard to please.

we left from Sydney & sailed for 2 days to get to Isle of pines, which is the most beautiful island i have ever seen! the beaches were amazing & the water so clear.

FOOD: my food experience on this cruise was perfect, i don't have a single complaint. from breakfast to dinner everything was fresh, hot & plenty of variety. if you didn't like anything from the buffet in la playa grille then you could go to the deli & get a toasted sandwich made to your liking. breakfast was a huge range from cereal to all hot foods & you can get omelettes made to your order! dinner had something new every night & all our wait staff remembered our name which was very personal and we loved it. every night at around 7 pm the waiters perform for you & you can join in if you want to.

Cabin Review

we were in the middle of the middle on the ship so we didn't feel a single wave which was good! the room is cleaned twice a day and always has a new animal made up from towels which are cute and a nice little touch, i definitely recommend a balcony room so you don't feel to closed in
