Everything was great on the Pearl and we are tough food and service critics. Purchase the extra dining package b/c it's totally worth it. We dined at the French/Le Bistro, steakhouse/Cagney's (2x), Japanese/Teppenyaki, Italian/La Cucina and had delicious filet mignon, lobster tails, scallops, pasta, rack of lamb and fabulous salads, vegetables and desserts to die for.
The majority of the staff/service workers were from the Philippines and they were gracious, hard working and completely accommodating and friendly. The drinks specials were fabulous and potent and there was always plenty of great food to eat at all hours of the day/night. We loved the Jersey Boys take off and the Broadway review. The talent was tops although we did not see the comedy shows more than a few minutes. Juggling etc. is just not our favorite type of entertainment. We would have liked another option each night other than comedy. We played Bingo, Karaoke and in the casino and all were fun (could have done without the smoking in the casino whew!). We had a lot of spring breakers on our cruise and they monopolized the pool/hot tub area but it didn't bother us at all. Their good time spread throughout the ship (pretty entertaining actually). The person that cleaned our room was perfect and always pleasant. Having a balcony was a plus as well. The ship is in perfect condition and always clean. I would have liked to have met the Captain or seen him walking about the ship once in awhile. WE loved our vacation! Everything was so awesome. Key West & Grand Cayman were outstanding stops with beautiful sites to see.Norwegian totally outbeat Royal Caribbean, Holland American and by miles beat out Carnival.
