This was a fantastic cruise! I don't need to post all of the same things you may already know about the Haven, but I will make some comments on room 9706. This is on the very front of the ship. The balcony is not forward facing as some advertising would suggest (and I knew this before I booked), but you do have a very large picture window that is forward facing from your bedroom. This room is a Haven suite, but not on the same deck as the Haven....so you have the luxurious amenities, but do have to use the elevator to get to the pool and private restaurant. We did not mind this at all! This cabin was actually a bit larger than some of the penthouse on the haven level, but was less expensive because it is not close to the Haven lounge/pool area. Since we had three people in our cabin, we opted for space.

The ONLY negative thing I have to say about this cabin is that you are surrounded by hull. Two sides of the cabin are facing the outside of the ship...this makes the cabin a bit louder. One other noise maker is that one of the crew bars in located on the forward deck directly in front of this cabin.....and they were a bit of a lively bunch during the warm weather nights.

Food-- great!
