We took a cruise to the Eastern Caribbean on the Liberty during the first week of March. This was actually our second time on the Liberty and we were just as impressed (if not more) this time around as before. As far as other member reviews that criticize this ship, I honestly don't know what else they could want. We had one of the best cruise experiences that we have ever had; this is our 8th cruise with Carnival.

Embarkation was a very easy and seamless process. We were boarding the ship within minutes and all of the staff seemed very friendly. We booked a balcony cabin which was very spacious for three people. The best part about having a balcony was being able to see the ocean and view the ports from your own private room. During the debriefing on the first day, we were told that no smoking is allowed on the balconies so we were happy that we wouldn't have to worry about the smell of smoke from the neighboring cabins.

Entertainment was great. Brittany Boyd from the Carnival Breeze became the new cruise director and she is one of the best. She and the fun team always ensured that all of the guests were having a great time. Deck parties were fun and people of all ages and ethnicities seemed to be enjoying themselves. We only went to 3 shows and they were very enjoyable. The DJ's played a nice variety of music and the Latin band was also very entertaining.
