I have taken approximately 15 prior cruises, only one with Carnival before, and now I know why!!! We stood in line outside in the hot sun for a very long time, because the ship was late getting in to dock due to fog. When the passengers got off, they told us that they had the same problem when they were embarking and that they were compensated, we weren't.

When I booked the cabin I specifically asked if I needed a w/c accessible because I am in a w/c ( I booked through Carnival directly). They told me that I should be able to fit, "no problem"!. So, I go to the cabin, and nope, can't get into the door without scraping both the door and the wheelchair, and banging back and forth against the walls. The steward is there and sees the problem and tells me to go to guest services and get another room a there are over 50 rooms that are not booked. guest services sends me away till after sailing. I come back after sailing and explain the problem, they refuse to change my room. I tell them that I am aware of the empty rooms that they have, and they still refuse, even though Carnival told me that I should book the cabin I did! First night in the cabin, I fall trying to get into the shower, ( not w/c accessible and had a step into the bathroom, and another into the shower). Cut my toe, and bruised my arm and hip. Went back to guest services and explained what happened, they were rude and told me again that they would not upgrade the room. The buffet was not w/c friendly either. Could not see most of the food, or reach the cups or silverware. The food was boring and stale, as were the shows. The ship itself was dark and dingy, and the smoking area on the Lido deck was continuously filthy!!! The tables were never cleaned, ashtrays never emptied unless guests did it, plates rarely removed,

All in all, a terrible experience! Oh, and I was not ALLOWED to get off in Belize because of the tender! That is ridiculous! Now live music on Lido deck, only a DJ that played lousy music! Now I know why I am a loyal Royal Caribbean customer!! Carnival NEVER again!!!
