After reading a damning review on the azura only 4 weeks ago, I wonder if there are 2 ships with the same name as I have just spent an amazing 2 weeks sailing around the Caribbean on a beautiful ship. The crew are kind, helpful, hard working and give a 100 %, the food in the main dining area, the buffet and deck areas are hot, very tasty and plentiful and the entertainment is second to none, very professional. The ship itself is modern with plenty of seating areas, pools, an outside cinema screen, plenty of room in the bars and theatre. My gripe would be with the cruisers themselves who are often very selfish with seats, whether it be by putting towels on the deck chairs first thing and then not using them until lunch time or by sitting at a dining table for 4, 6 or 8 and putting their bags on the other seats, glaring at you if you dare suggest you share the table, they do the same in the entertainment venues as well, making it difficult to find seats, so selfish.

Lovely, spacious quiet cabin kept spotless by cheerful maria, happy lady. Was concerned when I read a review that other people were kept awake by talking and a herd of elephants, but they must have gone back to the serengeti. As it was the last cabin on the corridor behind the bridge, it was very quiet as there was no through traffic. Love the layout of seperate wardrobe space and clever use of mirrors, which gives the illusion of space.

Cruise ships are not at fault if the sea is rough or the weather is not good, so don't downgrade them from that aspect. I also read my cabin was next to a noisy stair well, the only noise I heard was on the last night when they were moving the suitcases. I will be booking on the azura again without a doubt, we had a jolly good time.
