Flew from Newcastle on a First choice plane plenty of leg room food adequate.Entertainment rubbish. Embarkation process very efficient as always.Cabin clean and kept in tip top order by Ronaldo Our cabin steward. The ship was clean and comfortable. The reception team were at times quite offhand when you had a problem. The destination services team were the friendliest and most helpful that we have encountered. The rest of the crew as always are the jewel in Thomsons crown. This is our thirteenth cruise with Thomson and we think that some standards are slipping. The service in the Orion was very slow and the food especially during our first week in the Lido was often cold.

All the ports we visited were lovely and we had a great holiday.Full marks to Thomson for trying to make the disembarkation process easier, but if you intoduce a new system you must ensure that it works. On our cruise it didn't and people spent several hours in total trying to print out their boarding cards.Initially there was a lack of help from staff and it was left to a passenger called Peter to help us all. Thomson excursions expensive. Easy to organise your own once on shore. Entertainment on return equally rubbish. Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday we will be back with Thomsons.
