Very good for duty and tax free shopping! One of the nicer islands, Magens Bay very pretty and we'll a visit, on the opposite side of the island to the port but taxis are frequent and not expensive.

St. Thomas

We hadn't booked an excursion but got a taxi to a bay, that ranged from white to black sand, with the Atlantic on one side of the peninsular and the (warmer) Caribbean Sea on the other, our taxi driver gave us a guided tour en route and arranged to pick us back up to take us to the port

St. Kitts (Port Zante)

We took the taxi boat which was easy and pleasant. Beautiful white sands and a bit more commercial, lots of duty & tax free shopping. Were constantly hassled to book trips but lovely beach.

St. Maarten

One of two amazing experiences for us. I had never snorkeled before but a crew member took me the first time and he built my confidence and the second drop I was able to go on my own. Boat was nice and clean and staff polite and friendly, drinks included.

Hassled a bit when arriving at the port but ok once on the excursion, nice clean boat, friendly and knowledgable staff, saw lots of whales but no dolphins, and a large turtle basking in the sun, drinks included. But when we left the port a pod of dolphins swam with us.

We had a cabin on the 6th deck and we were aware we were going to have a restricted view when we booked, but this wasn't a problem at all, unless we looked over the balcony and down, which most times we would sit on the chairs and had a clear view of the sea or view of the island visiting.The cabin was perfectly adequate, with everything we could have asked for and very clean, our cabin attendant was extremely efficient, helpful and polite. Bedding changed regularly, towels changed every day and clean beach towels exchanged when we'd used them.

The only little problem we had was on disembarkation, leaving the ships and customs were fine, but we'd booked a day rooms at the Sheraton at Miami airport, but there weren't enough coaches to take us, so we had to wait over an hour for a coach, buy the time we got to the hotel we only had 3 hours there, not enough time to do any sightseeing.We had a cabin on the 6th deck and we were aware we were going to have a restricted view when we booked, but this wasn't a problem at all, unless we looked over the balcony and down, which most times we would sit on the chairs and had a clear view of the sea or view of the island visiting.
