Regent was fabulous beyond my wildest dreams

Sail Date: February 2014
Destination: Eastern Caribbean
Embarkation: Miami
I sailed back to back Eastern and Western. I am a widow and senior citizen travelling alone. I was hoping to meet people. The Asst. Cruise Director Mark formed a group called Social Travellers. We met at 6:45 for cocktails, (6-8) people came, different each time. Then we all went in to dinner together with Mark and he had 2 of the entertainers dine with us. It made me feel so welcome and comfortable.

Because it is a small ship, the ambiance was wonderful, people were very friendly.

The food was excellent 90% of the time. The all inclusive feature made it so much more relaxing, not having to pay, and sign and tip. The entertainment really pleasantly surprised me considering the size of the ship.

The main negative was the inacessibility of the pool, no steps only a ladder which my shoulders couldn't handle. The Spa prices were outrageous. They would sell more if their prices were more reasonable.

All in all it was a wonderful warm winter interlude. I More would go on Regent again if I find an itinerary I like. Less
